International designer and stylist, Kate Smith, derives her inspiration from the tactile and transcendental. Never static and forever experimenting she merges the prosaic with the precious the functional with the fantastic she takes extraordinary risks and they work!

Since graduating from Industrial Design she cites a diverse clientele and media base. She was Recognized early in her career by Dutch designer Gijs Bakker and Vivianna Torun for her innate sensitivity to line and form, bilingual Kate worked as a stylist in Berlin and later in Japan at Tokyo Designers' Week. She was offered a Scholarship with the prestigious Hiko Mizuno. Commissions from s.m.a.k in Iceland, Idee Tokyo, Westwood London, Chrome Hearts USA and a Cork exhibition for the Milano Salone...
